This is the maximum capacity allowed in Europe for an e-cigarette pod, and it is the quantity our machines put into each pod.<\/p>\n<p>Yet two people using the same pod do not get the same duration of use. Here is how a pod is filled, and what makes its consumption vary.<\/p>\n<h2>2 ml per pod: what the regulations say<\/h2>\n<p>The European Tobacco Products Directive (Directive 2014\/40\/EU, Article 20), transposed into French law, regulates electronic cigarettes. Among other things, it sets two limits:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a capacity of <strong>2 ml maximum<\/strong> for a pod;<\/li>\n<li>a nicotine concentration of <strong>20 mg\/ml maximum<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/x-bar.co\/en\/categorie-produit\/x-bar-range\/click-puff\/x-bar-click-puff-pod\/\">Click &amp; Puff pods<\/a> are designed for this 2 ml capacity. A pod containing more could not be sold in France or in the European Union.<\/p>\n<h2>How our pods are filled<\/h2>\n<h3>Filling carried out by machine<\/h3>\n<p>X-Bar pods are not filled by hand: filling is carried out by machines set to put 2 ml of e-liquid into each pod. This process gives the same quantity from one pod to the next and from one batch to the next.<\/p>\n<p>Each pod combines the atomiser, the coil and the e-liquid-soaked cotton in a single unit. It is supplied pre-filled and ready to be inserted on the battery.<\/p>\n<h3>Accurate filling, a production requirement<\/h3>\n<p>X-Bar pays particular attention to respecting this quantity. What changes is the quantity used each time. A pod works like a small 2 ml reservoir: each inhalation vaporises a fraction of it.<\/p>\n<p>Each inhalation can be compared to a sip: depending on whether they are short or long, spaced out or close together, the same starting quantity lasts a longer or shorter time. This coil wears with each inhalation: sustained use, with long and closely spaced inhalations, puts more strain on it than spaced-out use.<\/p>\n<p>The pod is designed so that the coil works until the 2 ml of e-liquid is used up. A few simple habits help you use it in good conditions to the end:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>space out inhalations rather than taking them one after another;<\/li>\n<li>do not inhale on an empty pod, as this heats the coil without e-liquid;<\/li>\n<li>store pods away from heat and direct light;<\/li>\n<li>replace the pod as soon as the vapour drops noticeably.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Pre-filled pod and rechargeable battery<\/h2>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/x-bar.co\/en\/click-puff\/\">Click &amp; Puff<\/a> combines two elements: a pre-filled pod, which is replaced once empty, and a battery rechargeable via its USB-C port, which you keep. The difference comes from the way you vape: the length, number and pace of inhalations determine how much e-liquid is used.<\/p>\n<h3>Can an X-Bar pod be refilled?<\/h3>\n<p>Click &amp; Puff pods are pre-filled: once empty, they are replaced with a new pod. Only the battery is recharged, via its USB-C port.<\/p>\n<h3>My pod looks less full on arrival, is that normal?<\/h3>\n<p>The visible level can vary slightly depending on the position of the pod or the presence of air in the reservoir.
